TeKippe Engineering, P.C.

TeKippe Engineering, P.C., was founded by Lyle TeKippe in 1980, after 10 years of consulting engineering in West Union. He has a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University. Besides his general civil engineering and land surveying projects, Lyle has recently completed his second three-year term as a member of the Iowa Engineering and Land Surveying Examining Board.

His brother George, who is also a professional engineer, joined the firm in 1984. At that time, he had 15 years engineering experience in California and Northeast Iowa. He has a Master's degree in Sanitary Engineering from Iowa State University. George specializes in water and wastewater system design and process control.

In 2000, TeKippe Engineering, P.C. acquired Tri-State Engineers of Manchester from retiring founder, Al Miller. Since 1964, Tri-State Engineers specialized in serving municipal clients. The Manchester location is managed by Ryan Wicks.

In 2009, TeKippe Engineering, P.C. opened a third location in Cedar Rapids, managed by Gary Casady.  As a result, the firm currently has a combined staff of nearly thirty highly qualified individuals to better serve the professional engineering and land surveying needs of clients throughout Eastern Iowa.
